So, I was a bit more saddened by Nora’s passing that I’d expected to be. Although, as Amber so greatly covered below, I think it had more to do with A) seeing Eric so heartbroken and “feeling” and B) seeing the subsequent brooding “I’m going to fuck some shit up” Eric than it did about Nora. Angry Eric, yes please sir, may I have another?
Sookie and Warlow annoy me. Well, for the most part Sookie has always annoyed me on some level. But her whole, what, rebel stage she’s going to go thru is stupid and unrealistic.
(BTW – were you aware that in the books – Eric does NOT choose to turn Pam waaaay back in the day but, rather, lets her die??? Mind. blown.)
I hate to even bring up the Newlin name but, seriously, storyline over, let’s get to some gruesome killings – - horrific human Sarah and a True Death for ex-hubby. Let’s DO THIS, we’ll throw some sort of online Skype party or something, seriously.
(Also, Amber? Sarah becoming a vampire should never EVER be suggested, discussed, brought up, mentioned on any level whatsoever, ever again mmmmmmkay??? ; New rule.)
I’m starting to warm to Willa more than I thought I would. I couldn’t stand her from the start, and hated the idea of any sort of Willa/Eric connection on any level let alone romantic, however she’s kinda becoming a little kick ass so I’m going to put her on my wait & see list.
Know who’s NOT on that list? Sam Merlott and that weird chick he’s been hanging with lately. I could not possibly care less about this storyline right now. Along with Alcide’s. They (writers) have managed to make a gorgeous creature like Alcide insignificant to the show, at least so far.
I definitely have more hope in the rest of the season than I did, was it last week? The stupid “OH MY GOD THEY ARE PITTING ERIC & PAM AGAINST EACH OTHER AND IT’S TOTALLY GOING TO WORK. NO, REALLY, IT WILL – WATCH.” storyline that not one TRUE True Blood fan believed would happen for a second. Dumb. It was like a kick to my intelligence.
I think that’s all I got for now folks. Since we’ve started this blog, I will start making notes while watching each episode so as to have more snark and also more Eric. Always more Eric.
