I could go on and on about how the fact that FINALLY the Eric Northman we all love is BACK has made up for the couple craptastic episodes we’ve seen this season (Sookie’s ghost dad in Lafayette’s body supposedly going to drown her episode? I’m looking at you!), however I am kind of upset that it was Bill that got to save the day as far as letting them all feed on him so as not to be burned to a crisp thanks to….who?? OH THAT’S RIGHT. The neverending storyline of the NEWLINS.
Yes, yes, I’ll give you that finally, FINALLY – Steve Newlin is gone (you GO Eric!!) but as for Jason not to take his shot on skank ass Sarah Newlin last night when he had the chance was bullshit. That’s right – I call BULLSHIT.
(Also – Amber – didn’t you just get done saying not too long ago that hopefully Eric will get to save the day & Bill will look like an ass? DAMMIT WTF!!)
Terry’s funeral scene was actually much more moving than I’d expected it to be, and as has been the case all season – poor Alcide and his lack of importance except for a place for poor annoying Sookie to rest her head on for like 2 seconds – continues.
Also – the amount of which I care about Sookie and Warlow couldn’t get any lower, honestly.
But when Eric says “You’re free, go forth & kill the humans.” to the freed vampires well, it made up for the YET ANOTHER WEEK of Mrs. Newlin’s annoying mouth and voice and hair. I guess.
