Week 6 record
8-7
Season record
35-24 (I started picks in week 3)
We get two new starting quarterbacks in Case Keenum and Josh Freeman this week, but will either of them make a difference?? I had a bad week last week, but I’m feeling good about my week this week. That just means that I’ll probably go 5-10 this week.
And here’s my week 7 picks!
Seattle at Arizona
If Carson Palmer hasn’t sucked so bad this year I might pick the Cardinals here, but as much as I hate to admit it, the Seahawks are just too good to be losing games to Arizona. Oh, and Pete Carroll is a bitch.
Pick: Seahawks

Tampa Bay at Atlanta
If Atlanta is going to turn their season around, it has to start with this game. Any playoff hopes for Matty Ice depend on beating Tampa. He knows it. Mike Smith knows it. I think all of Atlanta knows it.
Pick: Falcons
Cincinnati at Detroit
Cincinnati won a close one in Buffalo to a no-name QB last week. Something tells me Mad Marvin Beyond Ginger Dome doesn’t let that happen this week. It might just be me, but I’m waiting for the classic Detroit implosion that sends their season reeling. I’m guessing this week is the start of that.
Pick: Bengals

Buffalo at Miami
Buffalo is coming off a close loss, Miami off a bye. I think Miami takes this one fairly easily. Tannehill takes another step in his development this week.
Pick: Miami
New England at New York Jets
Can Rex get the Jets to play tough against New England? They usually do, and New England is due for a let down after a last second win against a really good Saints team. I really want to pick the Jets this week, but I just can’t trust Geno Smith yet.
Pick: Patriots
Dallas at Philadelphia
Vick ruled himself out this week, and I can’t see Nick Foles beating Dallas. Plus, I hate the fucking Eagles, so that makes this an easy pick for me.
Pick: Cowboys
Chicago at Washington
On paper the Bears are a better team. RG3 is closer to 100% but he still doesn’t look anywhere near himself. The Redskins defense still looks sub-par, and I think the Chicago offense will make up for a continuously worsening defense. If the Bears lose this game, they are in some serious trouble.
Pick: Bears
St. Louis at Carolina
This is one of the tougher games to pick this week. Which Rams team shows up? The Rams that Fisher whips in to shape and beats a playoff team by 30? Or a Bradford, mistake-prone shitstorm? Which Carolina team shows? The team that fights for it’s hot seat coach? Or the herpes infested Alba? I flipped a coin.
Pick: Panthers

San Diego at Jacksonville
Is there even a question as to which team I’m picking? The Jags looked better last week, only losing by 16, and San Diego is coming off a big win against Indy. I am guessing the Jags win at least one this year, and I guess I would be ok with them beating Phillip “How do I football” Rivers, but I don’t see it this week.
Pick: Chargers
San Francisco at Tennessee
It seems like every week I like the match-up that Tennessee has if they had Jake Locker. Unfortunately, they have the INT machine Ryan Fitz leading the way.
Pick: 49ers
Cleveland at Green Bay
Is this the week Brandon Weeden gets it together and looks like a normal NFL QB? HAHA. Oh, that’s right, he sucks. The Packers are banged up, and are missing a bunch of key players. The Browns defense is for real, but the offense sucks. The Packers offense is for real, but the defense is sub par. Hmmm…. Decisions decisions….. Eh, what the fuck, right? I hate the Packers. Upset Pick of the Week.
Pick: Browns

Houston at Kansas City
Case Keenum, come on down!! One of the most prolific passers in college football history gets his first start for a Texans franchise that needs a spark. I like Keenum, and might have picked him to win, if Kubiak weren’t throwing him out there against an undefeated team in one of the toughest places to play in the NFL. Then again, I’ve proven time and time again that I can’t pick how new quarterbacks play, so maybe I should just pick the Texans on that fact alone.
Pick: Chiefs
Baltimore at Pittsburgh
Neither Baltimore nor Pittsburgh look the same this year, and this match up used to be a great one to watch. I just can’t bring myself to watch Big Ben get fatter and Joe Flacco get dumber right before my eyes.
Pick: Steelers

Denver at Indianapolis
A lot of people are going to be tempted to pick Indy here because it’s the toughest team that the Broncos have faced so far. I just think Peyton is going to be juiced for this game, and the Broncos take care of business. I will say that I think the Colts will play tough enough that Denver won’t look like a Super Tecmo Bowl team.
Pick: Broncos
Minnesota at New York Giants
Josh Freeman, your turn! Can the Giants really fall to 0-7? Is Freeman the answer in Minnesota? Can New York’s O-line handle Jared Allen? How many picks will Eli throw? Tough game to pick, but I’ll give Rob some love here.
Pick: Vikings
Bye Week: Oakland, New Orleans
