Week 8 record
10-3
Season record
54-33 (I started picks in week 3)
Heartbreakers in both Detroit and Arizona torpedoed my week last week. Still above .500 for the year, so I can’t complain too much. Hey, with having the bye week this week, Jacksonville can’t lose!! Go Jags!!

Here we go for week 9!! Bear/Packer week!! More on that below…..
And here’s my week 9 picks!
Cincinnati at Miami
Every week I want to pick Miami, and every week I do, they get their ass kicked. I think this game will be close, and I think Ryan Tannehill will tease everyone enough to make them believe they will win. I see AJ Green having a big night and the Bengals winning in a close one.
Pick: Bengals
Kansas City at Buffalo
I’m still waiting for the week that Kansas City comes back to earth. I have no basis for this pick, other than I’ll look really smart if I’m right. Upset pick of the week.
Pick: Bills

Minnesota at Dallas
Christian Ponder = Losing. Josh Freeman = Big question whether he’s ready. Either way, whichever QB starts, it spells trouble for the Vikes.
Pick: Cowboys
Tennessee at St. Louis
St. Louis played tough against a good Seattle team last week. Kellen Clemmons made a case that he doesn’t suck, but I see him falling flat this week.
Pick: Titans
New Orleans at New York Jets
The Jets got embarrassed by Mad Marvin Beyond GingerDome last week. Though I think Rex gets them looking better this week, I don’t know that they can slow down Brees.
Pick: Saints
San Diego at Washington
I still think Washington’s defense is in trouble, but RGIII is looking better, and I think Alfred Morris has a big week this week.
Pick: Redskins
Atlanta at Carolina
Atlanta pissed me off last week. Therefore, as much as I don’t trust Carolina, I might have to pick them. Wait…did I just say that? Fuck that.
Pick: Atlanta

Philadelphia at Oakland
3-13 baby!! That’s where we’re headed, and Nick Foles will help us get there! The Eagles have changed quarterbacks more than a hooker changes dicks. Oakland is playing better ball, and they get the Eagles at home.
Pick: Raiders
Tampa Bay at Seattle
You think Greg Schiano is living out of a box in his office yet? He should be. Seattle looked weakened last week. The silver lining if the Bucs find a way to upset Seattle is that Pete Carroll would lose to Greg Schiano. Hahaha. Don’t see it happening.
Pick: Seahawks

Baltimore at Cleveland
Jason Campbell looked good in his debut with Cleveland last week. This game will come down to defense, and both are good. I’m picking with a little heart here, even if I think Baltimore will be strong coming off the bye.
Pick: Browns
Pittsburgh at New England
Yeah….Pittsburgh sucks this year.
Pick: Patriots

Indianapolis at Houston
Indy lost Reggie Wayne. Houston lost Brian Cushing. Case Keenum is starting again for a healthy (albeit sucky) Matt Schaub. Houston should play tough at home, but not tough enough.
Pick: Colts
Chicago at Green Bay
As a Bears fan, it’s hard going into games like this. Facebook becomes a war zone with friends and relatives turning on each other.

Idiot Packers fans flood Bears fans walls with moronic posts of “Bears Suck!” and “Cutler’s a pussy!”. Genius. Did you stay up all night working on that one?? Oh, don’t go bitching at me just yet….. the following picture negates ANY argument you might have had about NOT being a total fucking idiot.

And before you go calling me an ass, please realize I understand the Packers are a better team.

So anyway, let’s get to the game. The Bears roll out Josh McCown and a horrible defense against the best QB in the league, and as my picks have shown, I don’t like picking back-ups to win games the week after a good showing. They usually come out and suck up the joint. I’m looking forward to seeing Khaseem Greene, I’m guessing he might turn some heads. Aaron Rodgers is missing his top two pass catchers, doesn’t matter, he’s making Jarrett Boykin look like a pro-bowler. I’ll pick against the Bears with high hopes of an upset. Ha. Yeah……..
Pick: Packers
Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m a Bears fan, but I DO realize how great Aaron Rodgers is. If you have read anything I’ve written you know I give him praise and continuously call him the best QB in the league. Doesn’t mean I can’t make fun of him. Hahaha.

Bye Week: Denver, Detroit, New York Giants, Arizona, San Francisco, Jacksonville
