Week 12 record
12-4
Season record
95-63-1 (I started picks in week 3)
Well I rebounded last week after an abysmal performance the week before. Here’s hoping I can have another good week!
Here’s my picks for Week 14!
Houston at Jacksonville
This is a tough game to pick. I’m coining it The Battle of Suck. The Texans have lost their last six games by an average of less than 4 points per game, so they’re close in almost every game. The Jaguars won two weeks ago in a snooze-fest, I’m thinking Houston wakes up this week. WHOEVER WINS THIS GAME GETS A COOKIE!!
Pick: Texans

Indianapolis at Cincinnati
Indy has been so up and down the last few weeks. Cincy has too, but I’ll take the home team here.
Pick: Bengals
Atlanta at Green Bay
It looks as if Matt Flynn will go again for the Pack, and I just have a feeling the Packers will remain winless without Aaron Rodgers. They are 0-4-1 without him right now. I don’t see that changing, even at home.
Pick: Falcons
Cleveland at New England
It doesn’t matter if it’s Tanney or Hanie, Cleveland is getting WHOOPED. The fans know it, too.
Pick: Patriots

Oakland at New York Jets
If the Jets QB situation wasn’t so abysmal I might pick them to win at home. The defense should be ok, but I don’t know that they have a QB that can get the ball to anyone but the opposing defense.
Pick: Raiders
Detroit at Philadelphia
Oh, my, what do I do?? A team I despise in Philadelphia against a bunch of douchenozzles in the same division as the Bears in the Lions. I can’t bring myself to pick Detroit here. Fuck Jim Schwartz. Fuck the Lions. Dirty criminal cheatin’ bastards. Am I the only one that missed the fact the Nick Foles has 19 TD passes and ZERO interceptions? Shit, when did he become an NFL QB?
Pick: Eagles

Miami at Pittsburgh
Mike Wallace returns to Pittsburgh in a game that will have some wild card implications. I don’t know that I’ve picked Miami correctly all season. Pittsburgh should get the win here, even with Tomlin cheating.
Pick: Steelers
Buffalo at Tampa Bay
I’ll pick Tampa Bay here if only for my boy Nate, who is a die hard Bucs fan. He’s had a rough go of it this year, especially when he predicted 25 TD’s, 6 picks, and a pro bowl for Josh Freeman. I think you whiffed on that one.
Pick: Bucs

Kansas City at Washington
I don’t know that I can pick Washington again this year. They have not shown any reason to make me think they can win another game.
Pick: Chiefs
Minnesota at Baltimore
Looks like Matt Cassel gets the start this week, but playing Baltimore’s defense, in Baltimore, is just too much for him to handle. Adrian Peterson should have another good day, but I see Cassel losing this one for the Vikes.
Pick: Ravens
Tennessee at Denver
A small part of me wanted to pick the Titans this week. Then two words kept ringing through my head. Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Pick: Broncos

St. Louis at Arizona
Arizona has played better lately, and they’re fighting for a wild card spot. St. Louis is out of the derby pretty much, and I see them suffering a let down in the desert.
Pick: Cardinals
New York Giants at San Diego
Oh, man. Battle of the quarterbacks I hate. Eli Manning and Phillip Rivers go head to head in a game that I could give two shits about. All I can hope is that both of them have historically bad days. I’m picking this game on the defenses.
Pick: Giants

Seattle at San Francisco
I guess this is as close to an upset as I’m picking this week. Seattle is 11-1, San Francisco 8-4, so I guess the 49ers are underdogs even at home. Seattle won the first matchup 29-3 earlier this season, and I’m guessing Harbaugh will make his team remember that. Maybe that can put a smile on his face. Upset Pick of the Week
Pick: 49ers

Carolina at New Orleans
New Orleans is 6-0 at home this season. I know Carolina has been unstoppable lately, but I don’t see how the Saints don’t respond after the drubbing by the Seahawks last week.
Pick: Saints
Dallas at Chicago
Now, I know I said I wasn’t going to pick the Bears until they won again, and I held true to that last week picking the Vikings. Well, I’m not going to jinx myself by doing what I said I was going to. Plus, whether Cutler plays or not, the Bears are 4-2 at home and Dallas is 2-4 on the road.
Pick: Bears
