AMERICAN HORROR STORY COVEN SUPERLATIVES - HEAD - RANDOM THOUGHTS AND OBSERVATIONS

By V

Sorry readers!! I know I’m late.. Like over a week late.  I have been so busy with Christmas shopping and wrapping and all that fun stuff, I didn’t even get a chance to rewatch until last night!  Very unlike me, I am usually rewatching the next night and working on my blog by the weekend.  Didn’t work out that way with this last episode, which stinks because I really enjoyed this episode.  So even though I’m a week and a half late with my superlatives, I’m still excited to post them and for you to read them and let me know how this episode ranked for you.  So here are my random thoughts and observations, however weird some may be :)

Random Thoughts/Observations

The witch in the opening scene needed a shower.  And a brush.  And a washing machine.  She was super creepy looking.

Loved how that same witch protected herself by blowing the fire out of her mouth.

Fiona didn’t even acknowledge Queenie when she showed up at Corn Row City.

The scene with Myrtle and Cordelia talking and Myrtle telling Delia she would never have harmed her was quite touching.  The chemistry between all the actors/characters is phenomenal.

Once again, loved the music in this episode.  Especially the orchestra music during Hank’s walk to his fathers office, and also “Oh Freedom” playing during Hank’s attack on Corn Row City.

Delphi Trust.. hmm, sound familiar (Madame DELPHINE LaLaurie)..Wheels spinning.. Probably going no where, but interesting at least.

Hank using a credit card at the hotel where he killed Kaylee was so amateur.  Seriously, Hank, haven’t you ever watched True TV!

Hank looked really hurt when he found out his father was behind the blinding of Cordelia.  This episode proved to me that Hank does love (in some way) Cordelia.

Myrtle is straight up cray cray!

Holy lemon baller.  Will never look at one the same again.  Might never look at one again!

Myrtle was being quite the hypocrite when she called Fiona out for murdering Madison right after she murdered Pembroke and Quentin.

I’m liking this new strong willed Cordelia.  When she tells Myrtle she needs to treat Fiona with respect because she is in fact the Supreme, I was shocked that she would actually stick up for her mother.

LOVED the hat Madison wore to the hospital.  Where can I get???

I cried when Joan sang to Luke and pulled Nan to her.  Of course my tears were short lived, but it was a sweet moment none the less.

Love how Queenie is trying to educate LaLaurie, instead of trying to torture her or burn her head as ordered.

Love the chemistry between Cordelia and Misty.  They are like bff’s in real life, and their chemistry really shows on screen.

Holy shit, it was Hank at Misty’s!! I didn’t think it was him, since they were disguising him.

I was really surprised when Laveau told Queenie to burn LaLauries head.  She never wanted to kill LaLaurie, just torture her with immortality. Now she has a total change of heart.
