Congratulations to Jon Voight for his Golden Globe win for his role on Ray Donovan this evening.
In addition to Spader NOT winning for Best Actor/Drama Series - - I cannot BELIEVE that Brooklyn Nine-Nine won Best TV Comedy Series over the likes of both Big Bang Theory and Modern Family. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Brooklyn Nine-Nine and it’s hilarious, but not sure it’s got the chops yet to win out over the other 2 shows I mention above.
Also shocking is Andy Samberg’s win for Best Actor in a TV Comedy for his role on Brooklyn Nine-Nine over Jim Parson/Sheldon on Big Bang. While I adore Andy Samberg and he’s great in the show - - he hasn’t reached “Sheldon Cooper” level yet in my opinion.
I was very happy to hear Amy Poehler won for Best Actress in a TV Comedy for her role on Parks & Rec, especially since the show is possibly on the brinks of being cancelled (which would be tragic.)
